A once-in-a-lifetime disaster

Life after Hurricane Michael has been hot and miserable for many Floridians. Reportedly, some storm victims in rural parts of the "panhandle" are STILL waiting for help. Liberty Relief International is continuing our efforts to support the work of a Christ-centered partner on the ground in Florida. Our goal is to help bring as much humanitarian relief as possible to those who need it. Please click here now to make a tax-deductible gift of any amount. Or see my previous update below to find out how your donation will help victims of this deadly and devastating "Category 4" storm —Mat.

From the desk of:
Mat Staver, President
Liberty Relief International

Hurricane Michael was a once-in-a-lifetime weather disaster. Not only was it the first "Category 4" ever to hit the Florida panhandle, it also was the most powerful October storm in U.S. history. At 155 mph, Michael's wind speeds were just two mph short of a "Category 5" storm!

ABC News reported that local authorities urged 325,000 people in the hurricane's path to evacuate. But with the storm progressing from "tropical" to "Cat 4" in just two days, many people simply didn't have time to pack up belongings, "nail down" property and even leave the area. As a result, thousands and thousands of hurricane victims are still struggling mightily.

Liberty Relief International has temporarily suspended our overseas outreach to persecuted Christians in the Middle East and is reaching out on behalf of Hurricane Michael victims. Food, water, medicine and other humanitarian supplies are still urgently needed in the Florida-panhandle region. An estimated 100,000 residents still don't have power nearly two weeks after the storm.

The bottom line is that many fellow Americans need our help! {{ recipient.first_name_or_friend }}, would you be willing to do something, right now, to make a difference? Your tax-deductible gift of any amount today will help us partner with Christ-centered disaster-response teams that are on the ground in Florida bringing relief!

This past weekend, I had hoped to raise $5,000 to support our Christ-centered partner's hurricane-relief outreach. But as of noon today, we were still far short of that goal, raising just $1,500 for these efforts. So, before Liberty Relief International returns our attention to persecuted Christians in the Middle East, I want to give you another opportunity to help Florida-panhandle residents by making a tax-deductible donation of any amount.

The need is urgent, which means the time to take action on behalf of hurricane victims is now! Please help us respond as quickly as possible! Go here to give now.

Thank you, in advance, for bringing light into darkness. God bless you!

Mat

P.S. For those of us who don't have the ability to physically help in the Hurricane Michael recovery efforts, Liberty Relief International can provide an outlet to send relief to victims by working with our Christ-centered ministry partner. Again, we want to raise at least $5,000 in support to help relief workers already on the ground in Florida. Please help with your best possible tax-deductible donation today.
